    Hi all,

Thinking about selling my '99 1.8T gti.

What would be a reasonable amount to ask for it?

Its done 62k, FSH, and looks as below!:

Thanks in advance for your help

62k for a 99 plate is nothing mate, you should be looking way above the book price, especially as it looks mint! Good luck with your sale.

£3300 to £3800 would be my guess..

Your GTI Does look tidy but people may be put off by the colour of the wheels.

    Yes

that could be an idea though, if you could swap with another owner for a set of stock colour wheels, then you may get a little more, being unmodified

    Hi Mate,

It does look very clean.  I agree completely with Flashbsd - if you can swap the wheels for a standard set, I think you'll also make it easier to sell (as I think black/grey rims have a very limited market).

I'd say between £3,000 to £3,500 for it may due to the low mileage & condition.  However, there are loads of cars out there for sale right now, so if you can hang onto it for a while, it might be better to do so...
