    Can anyone help me to figure out what the hell the purple plugin is under the air con controls when you pull the bottom metal fascia off????? Im really intreged to what it is....... so someone please enlighten me! Thanks

     it's the OBD interface for talking to your ECU with VAG COM

    yup its the diagnostic port its also were they plug into to to do a remap
