    thinking of buying a diesel golf, is this a good choice?

    As moo says more details please....

    Budget? is prob the only thing needed as this will determine pretty much the type of car you will be looking at in pretty much every respect.

    one question I can answer id that buying/considerign a vw/golf of any guise is a good call so yeh you on the right path and definitly int he right palce for your questions to be answered.

     I love my GTI 150PD, what else can you find with 150BHP that averages 45+mpg 60+MPG on the motorway (if you can cope with the cruise control set at 70MPH)?  Had it over 5 years (75K miles) and never really had a problem with it.

     i also have  a gt tdi 150 73k just had turbo gate done as kept going in limp mode but wouldnt part with it lovley drive, fast, realible looks nice what more do you wont!!
