I have a ST3 which I used on my Golf but i've sold that for a BMW 530d M-Sport,is it possible for me to use the ST3 I have on the new car with a new cable and new map's or won't it work at all?

 What year is the bmw ? also what hp ?

 05 Plate and 218bhp 3.0D.

We will be the first to launch an edc16 switchable map for the bmw but release is not untill end of August.

 That's fine by me i'll wait till then!

 One last thing,will the ST3 work or not?
