     I am in the process of changing my dashboard(bought it with airbags blown)

    If you open the passenger door and take off the side panel of the dash there are two wires with plugs on. On mine one goes to a light the other is not plugged in and i can't see anywhere it can go. Has anyone else with a MK5 looked behind here or could someone take a look for me. Panel comes off really easy.

    Have you any pictures to help diagnoses?  Also, which model Mk5 is it?

     It's an 07 GTI. Was getting dark so no photos. Will take some tomorrow during the removal. To hot to be working in cars today.
