    Dear All;

    I bought a VAG-CAM Commander 5.1 from ebay to customize some of my GOLF GTi  200PS O8  settings. Unfortunately  I've not been able to  adjust any of the settings  and my  Odometer has  switched from  Miles to KM's. Please can anyone help.

    It's pretty straightforward to do with VCDS.

    However using a cable you got off Ebay suggests your software may not be 100% legit. A case of caveat emptor it would seem. Maybe if you posted this in the OBD forum someone with a genuine VCSD cable (VAG-COM) could sort it for you.

    What did you try to do?

    The software version 5.1 is a very old version and sold with cloned hardware, it does not support 2008MY. 

    Need some help? with...Vagcom, Keys/Immobilser adaption/defeat, Ecu/Cluster Swap. Miles to Empty/Illuminated Needles, Autowindows etc... PM me :)
