     Hi,

Driving along today and the EPC light came on and the traction control warning light, i was not applying the brake at the time also the car suddenly seemed to lose a bit of power. Whe i got home after about 10  minutes turned the engine off turned it back on and the faults cleared. Had this problem a few times over the last couple of months any ideas what it could be or any one had the same problems.

    Thanks in advance

Best bet is to get somebody to check your car with VAG-COM.  I had the EPC light come on recently when my brake pedal switch was playing up.  Could be as simple as that but you really need to get the faults read to know what is the cause. Yes

Either a faulty brake light switch or a faulty ABS sensor...  Are your brake lights working ok?  A quick VAGCOM should reveal all..

The brake lights seem to be ok, but sometimes the Emmisions workshop light comes on aswell and the car just dies. Going to get it checked this morning will let you know what is found.

    Thanks for the advice
