     As the title says.

Any ideas, what wheel cleaner to use?

It will depend upon the condition of the wheels.

I use a clay bar to remove dirt / dust / grime that doesn't wash off. A clay bar will remove most things and won't harm your wheels - this is all I have ever used (apart from auto shampoo and water).

If on the other hand your wheels are in a poor state, then the careful use of an acid-based wheel cleaner may be required. Do a quick search on this site for "acid based wheel cleaner" or similar for recommendations of products used by other members.

I wouldn't use acidic wheel cleaners unless the wheels are very bad and nothing else works. Best thing to do is try normal shampoo/water but warm water, and if that doesn't work then try a clay bar.

polished weels??? if so belgom alu!

works wonders i used to use it on my piolished bbs, it also hasd a wax property that helps to retain shine! and isnt a pure polish like something like autosol, which is too abrasive to use regularly

ideally get a layer of wax on there too....building up protective layers means a simple wipe over with a microfibre and some soapy water and your away!
