Hello all this is My First Post and i was looking for some Help and Advice.

Right just Bought a New Golf 1.9TDi Match and i have the Pioneer DEH-P85BT head unit that i am looking to put in to my new car...

I have read that the Stock iPod adaptor that comes with the car is no use with other head units so i was planing to use the ipod lead i have and just attach it to the existing iPod Port is that ok to do??

Next Question how do i go about changing head unit and also what cables ill i need so i can still use the steering wheel controls..

Any Help and Advice would be great
