Just wondering if its something that any tyre place would do? I'm thinking kwikfit might not? (not that I'm a customer of theirs) Are there any safety issues at all with stretched on tyres?

    Cheers

not all places will do it, some places dont know how to do it if your going big stretch.

its more just goign round finding somewere, get friendly with the people and then get them done. or can do what i do and just go to back ally tyre places and get them to fit them.

Anywhere should do it.  It's the same process as putting any other tyre on.  There will be no safety issues to be worried about as long as it's not some ridiculous stretch with the sidewalls almost splitting just to get them mounted.

saftey issues will depend on how u drive ur car, other than that there pretty safe, youll probably find indepndent tyre fitters are more likely to do it,

give www.bmautosports.com a call he probably does them and i dont think he's too far from you, knows his tyres as well.

as said, as long as its not getting to the point were your fitting tubes and filling them with gas cocktails to to get the tyres to mount, then most places will do them

There are not safety issues with stretch tyres that differ from normal sized tyres, its all down to tyre pressures over anything else, they run the same pressures as you would normally put in, 32 psi or around that.

They can be driven hard on, i have done for years now and my stretch isnt what you would call shy.

Nothing to worry about, only thing, watch kerbs lol :) as for fitters, its all down to what size tyre on what wheel, i have done most sizes on most wheels owning cars so if you want to know if a certain tyre will stretch easy or not, just ask, more than happy to help as i know when its a major stretch, it is harder to fit the tyre compared to when its less.
