    Hi,

I'm looking to upgrade for the 15" avus wheels for GTI. I like the look of the Montreals but would like any opininons on which look best?

    Cheers

    17' Santa Monica's or the 16' Montreal II's. Yes

Some say that each of his toenails are exactly the same as a woman's nipples. And that he thinks the credit crunch is some kind of breakfast cereal..

All we know is, he's called..

I'd have say Santa Monica 17" first and then the Montreal 2's.

    Have you looked here?

It might give you some ideas.

If it doesn't fit, spit on it and try again.

I always liked the Long Beach's but never found a set.

Strictly speaking the RC's are a standard wheel too!

Have a look at this gallery of oem wheels:

I like the 17" Evolos. Are you looking at Avus 1 or Avus 2 vs Monty 1 or Monty 2?

17" Long Beaches, I don't think they were ever available here.  They were a popular option in the US.

You can get a replica here.

    http://www.performancealloys.com/details.asp?procedure=wheel&id_wheels='129'&id_wheels_manufacturers='Replicas'&id_wheels_sizes='17x7'&price='115'&permission=25079244

Santa Monicas are my second choice but the polished finish takes some looking after.  I have some year old reps and they look pretty tatty already.

I'd go with either Santa Monica or BBS RC (Anni style).
