i need a complete 6 speed shifter, from the gearknob right through to the little clips that attach to the box. does anyone know if the shifters on all vw 6 speed boxes are the same, or are they different between say a 130pd box to a 4motion

ive been offered one for £100 and was wondering if people thought this was a good price? considering just one of the cables from vw is £100

sorry fella, don't know the answer (but assume they're all the same?!). However, if you need the gearknob I've got a 6-speed R32 one you can have.

 im pretty sure they are the same but wanted to make sure first.

yeah, just realised you're in a 1.6, in which case the knob will be no use unless you transplant the whole shifter.

 wont be a 1.6 for much longer ;)
