Right guys, im very close to selling my car now

so just wanted to know what to do when i go for the next one.....things to consider maybe doing a hpi check, rac check.....general once over of the car.

by the looks of it, the car i will be purchasing will be a mission away.....so is it best to get the details of the garages at which the services have been carried out? and then ring up the garages to confirm what the seller is saying?

Any other advice anyone can give? Its been a while since purchasing the last and i want to make sure i dont make any mistakes when parting with my hard earned!  

 I think a Hpi check is an absoulte must vishal even if they have said they've done they're own.

If they're saying full main dealer history, get the name of the dealer and confirm it all with them.

Not too sure about the RAC check, up to you on that one..

What exactly does the RAC check involve?

Also, payment wise, is it best to give like a bankers draft or something?

 there was a thread on here a while back where bankers drafts aint actually guarenteed money any more,

as for checks hip will only bring up recoreded history, if the car has history but not recorded then it wont show, if you can or know somebody in the trade ask them to come along, main thing is to check for overspray on rubber, panels not fitting right, bothced interior of repairs, if it looks like a dog then it will be, if its priced to cheap then theres a reason to,
