I have had my front bumper resprayed as there were a few marks on it from the previous paintwork and i also droped off the gutter and cracked a bit on the corner so i thought i would have the number plate plinth holes smoothed out, and see what it looks like. i have had the number plate holder resprayed aswell so if i didnt like it or fancy a change i can just pop it back on maybe with some double sided tape of some sort. but heres how it looks anyway..

by the way the number plate is just for show before the comments start lol... i dont really use the car much either i use my work van i cant remember the last time i used my car.

Golf mk4 r32 rep sadly gone but replaced with seat leon cupra r

    Hi Mate,

I'm really sorry to say that it's illegal (even though it looks good).  The plate must be the standard size and must be displayed on the front of the vehicle (behind the windscreen is also illegal - I know as I got pulled twice for this while repairing a previous car).

I believe it is illegal to display in the window.  But more important, I have heard that insurance companies only insure your vehicle between the plates...

So your front end wouldn't be covered if displayed in the window.  Probably just a myth mind you.

As far as that plate goes, yeah, wrong size lettering, so is illegal.
