Just taken the car to the 'stealers' for service and they have diagnosed rough idling and judder from the engine as a suspect flywheel.
On this basis I am now looking to replace the flywheel and clutch plate and I have a few questions:
1. Has anyone done this before and can recommend a particular brand or kit to purchase?
2. Cost involved?
3. Is the fly wheel a single or dual mass?
I have been told that I require a kit for engine code ARL as mine is a 150bhp GT TDI and should have the following part numbers:
Dual Mass Flywheel part No: 2294 003 341
Clutch Kit Part No: 3000 990 043
Should I replace the bearing at the same time, this is something someone has recommended I have should done?
Any thoughts and comments would be appreciated.
