I attempted to fit the 3 blink comfort module to my 04 bora and couldnt do it! Grrr! Popped the  hazzard switch out, removed the cup holder and 6 cd changer but the wire behind the hazzard switch certainly isnt long enough to  pull it out from the cup holder end.... Any pointers as to where I'm going wrong grrrrr!

When I did mine, I removed the centre vents also.  Made access much easier.

It is easiest if you remove the center vent assembly Si Yes yo will be able to pull the cable out a bit more with all the switches disconnected.

on the golf, i took out the radio,  and took out the cup holder unit too.

it is quite fiddly,  not much in the way of wire length to play with.

took me just over an hour in the end

I did mine and my Mums just recently.

It's definitely fiddly - especially when fitting all the cable and that ruddy relay back in.

But having more patience and smaller hands than me Dad helps. Big Smile

Halfway through my Dad said, "You can always put it back the way it was you know...". Hmm

When I did mine I removed the cupholder and the cubby hole (my changer is in the boot) and mangaged to do it by sticking my hand in - I didnt remove the centre vents as mine really didnt want to budge and was worried about snapping them.

The only infuriating bit I found was accidently putting a wire in the wrong pin location and it taking me about 20 mins to remove it Angry

Overall though the hastle is more than worth it and I find it one of the most practical mods Ive done - I drive other cars without it and go mad when it only flashes once!!!

Go to the dealer - I got mine for £35 inc VAT the part number is 000998229A. As far as Im aware this is the cheapest place to get it from as there is no P&P costs and they normally get hold of stuff in 2 days if its not i stock.

The dealer didnt know the part even existed until I gave him the part number!
