Help - front bumper won't go back flush...any tips?

     Just changed by headlights and removed the front bumper to do so....it now won't fit back flush on either side (about 5cm in at the top corners) any tips guys???

     have the inner shields gone back indide the wings?

     the splash guards inside the arch that the bumper screws too

     Yes, they are all connected as before

    How can you connect them if the bumpers out by 5cm!!

     sorry - hard to explain...it's all connected but a part of the bumper is protruding a few mm about 5cm in from the wheel arch - same both sides...looks more like a really bad panel join now

    Ok Tabs - you mean that rather large type at the top where your eye never goes because you are looking at the headerEmbarrassed

    Perhaps a header in the title would be benificial as the sender hasn't a Mk5 in his bioStick out tongue

    Anyway - According to 5th gear (yeah sad but nothing else on) you can change the headlight bulb in 30secs in a mk 5 so why take off the bumper to do it!

    They are out a few mm where this arrow is pointing each side.....not my golf just a pic I used

    Anyway - According to 5th gear (yeah sad but nothing else on) you can change the headlight bulb in 30secs in a mk 5 so why take off the bumper to do it!

     

    It was to change the headlights not the bulb
