    De-lock the car.

    Now.

Search the forum for information about it, should find enough to sort yourself out Smile

Yohan is 100% right. Make sure you de-lock it straight away. Buy the kit off ebay.

Rather than buying a de-lock kit has no body thought of getting a rear handle & just fitting that instead??

The rear handle has a seperate barrel and cover AFAIK like the fronts, it is quicker and easier to get the de-lock kit and fit that as you won't have to strip the door down.

on the subject of de-locking, i found the perfect tool for the job! Its one of those screwdrivers with changeable tips, I got it for £1 and it came with the correct size torx driver and also has a telescopic magnet in it which was perfect for fitting the metal disc in place without risking dropping it into the door!!

Unfortunately i cant remember the name of the place i got it - but it was one of those pound shop type places

No, have a look in the DIY guides section at the de-locking guide and it will show you how to do it Yes

I Bought my kit from E-Bay too.  It only takes about 10 mins each side to do and you will see what the security flaw is while you're doing it.  Made me glad I had the kit!
