my first car was my golf, my neighbour has a anni and i've always liked the look of golf's especially when theyre slammed!, what were you driving before your vw and what inspired you?

 The mk4 i have now is only my second car, my first was a mk3 1.8se

do vans count?? if so then i had two lwb sprinters old one (310d) n new(311cdi) one. and i have to say i miss driving them. especally the newer one!

this is the first car I've owned and been insured on, but I've driven a select few other cars (not on the roads!)

I was brought up in a world of car repair which slowly became Audi and VW. Our family had loads of Audi's - 100's etc. I think we had the Audi 200 Turbo with the 4 square headlamps. Brill!

My Mum had a Golf Gti MK1, Mk2, Mk3 and now she has a Mk4 150PD. My Dad's last Golf was a VR6 and he's had a Mk6 Polo.

My first car was a Mk1 Polo that my Dad gave me after I joined the Army.

I got 95mph out of it on the Autobahn and 97mph after fitting a chrome air filter.

My last VW's were a bay window camper, 2x  Mk2 Gti's and a Mk3 GL.

The good old days but none of them compare to the Mk4.
