Thought id start a mini build thread that i can keep updating over the months so everyone can comment and see whats going on.

Bought that car at the start of May.

    Standard Very high looking.

Then the hottuning coilovers came along.

    Then some GTI tail lights.

Next was some aero wipers as my passenger wiper didnt have a spring in it, it just flapped on the windscreen.

Painted engine cover, and installing a new slam panel.

    Things still to do:

RS4 Alloys once paypal stops being annoying

    Window tints

Colour code rub strips on door and handles

    Rear aero wiper

    Sound system

Cant think of anything else right now so give me some ideas and comment on what you think so far

Looks really good so far mate.  RS4 is a good choice of alloys too.  Yes

Maybe some form of bodykit and/or rear spoiler could go on your shopping list too?

    Wigster.

My plates are legal in my eyes Chuckle but they are using some motorcycle size digits, might get some legal stamped plates.

Id love an anni kit on it was thinking id save the money for my next car which will be another golf just bigger engine 1.8T would do me nicely, Spoiler was on my shopping list in my mind its a nice finish to the back end, what sorta adhesive is used or can you get the stuff from vw,  i love the look of golfs with RS4's on them.

Dunno how low its sitting as its on coilovers and im to lazy to measure anything when it was going down, all i know is i took the adjuster cup out from the rear so thats as low as it will get at the back and just made the front even.

I love the ride hight nice and low is the way to go.

Hopefully ill be getting a set of alloys soon, when im fitting them ill try find out how low it is, only putting 17s on as i dont want to loose to much power and comfort as its only a 1.4 see how the alloys sit then maybe some spacers will be going on.

Ebay induction kit was a good cheap choice like, does the job would say it gives you more power though probably a small amount but makes throttle response much quicker IMO and as adam says i give him a good chase until his turbo kicks in at 5thHuh? oh it gives a nice deep noise when accelerating which is why i got it instead of being stealth.

Seams bargain stuff is the way to go, hotuning coilovers are doing the job too.
