Interior light from a W8 Passat.

The same but the switches light up and has 2 downlight LEDs which light up the gear stick. Quite cool, sometimes called waterfall lighting.

4Motion, 5dr Black, Recaro Lether, Xenons, Sunroof, Winter Pack. DSP Sound system. Blue LED interior light. Led Side Lights.
Ferrari 348 GTB, Race Cams, Flowed heads, Quicksilver exhaust, Full Cage. 460BHP Momo seats, Harnesses, Eibach Springs, Race Dampers.

Hi not sure on turning the leds off to be honnest the only way they would annoy you is if you were driving and looking up at the same time anyway you have a pm, You might be able to get them other here cheaper but the leds will most proberly be red.

Surely if you don't really want the LEDs you wouldn't bother changing from a standard Golf one?

you have to tap into the dash board dimmer wire so when you dim the dash the leds dim too. its really simple as its only 1 wire, the hardest part is routing the wire to the back of the headlight switch
