hi i just bought a leather recaro interior for my mk4, ive been told that the seats are heated, ive no reason to not believe the guy as i bought them having seen them advertised with no mention of them being heated, when he fitted them for me he said oh yeah theyre heated they have the elements inj the seats but you need some wiring to hook them up, basically how do i check if they are heated, or are all leather recaros for mk4s heated? also if they are heated what do i need to buy and how easy is it to fit? the seats are from a 2002 car and my car is a 1999 t if that helps

    cheers

The heated seats will have a green plug underneath for this conector, might be the yellow one.One is for the airbag and the other for the heated seats.Have a look if your seats have both plugs on them.

I thought all leather recaros had heater elements.  The wiring loom and switches are easy enough to rig up.  You can get them from kufatec.de

As said, heated seats have a green plug. If your car did not have this option, you will need to find a loom and switches, and no, not all Leather Recaro's are heated.
