    has anyone here fitted the depo fk twin angel eye headlights and NOT fitted an hid kit?  im trying to get everything together for when they arrive and ive been told that both high beam and dip beam are h7 bulbs on them where as on oem headlights they are h7 and h1.  can anyone confirm this?

    oem is H7 & H1 Yes

     ah bonny sir, its the set up of the angel eyes i need to know as it might be different to oem, ive been told that high and dip beam migh both be h7 and i just want to make sure i have all the right bulbs when it comes to installation but i have sorted some extra h7's anyway just in case Yes

    I didn't know you could get Angel Eyes without HID!  Awesome.  I don't like the appearance of the HID lamp, so this put me off a set - if you can get them with regular bulbs, I'll rethink this.  Cool

     sure can wigster.  it turns out that all he bulbs are the same on these with exception to the highbeam.  high beam on the new angel eyes i have is actually an H7's. this is the link for the ones i got which, after doing some research, are the best ones to get at the moment.  they have black internals but you can get them with chrome internal surrounds aswellYes:

    My Depo's are H7 Dipped AND H7 Main beam. They aren't angel eyes though but are projector style lights.

    That's strange we both found the same link but your one shows the same lights for more money than my one how strange is that. this must be the reason i guess The European Headlight switch is recommended. Fits 99-05 MK4 Golf, GTI, and R32.
