Just bought an OEM armrest which comes with bracket but no bolts. I understand that I need 3 of them but on browsing the forum only have a part number for a fitting kit which i assume includes the bracket (1J0898079)

Does anybody have the part number(s) for the bolts by themselves?

Ideally need a reply by 5 so I can pop in on my way home Big Smile

    Thanks

I think it's a factory part so it'll have to be ordered in sadly. I thought you could only get the kit as one which includes the mount bracket - £28 if memory serves.

All individual bolts have part numbers so it will be possible to get them seperate.

nice one azzle, think i just got the same diagram off of vagcat but you're very quick!!

from the pic it looks like part #36 would be the full kit

    i reckon i'll need parts 28, 31, 32, 33, 34 (x2) and 35

    what is part 27 though?

    this is what i bought - http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/t/222963.aspx

    any help gladly appreciated!

28 is N 906 915 01 (around 90p) although im certian you will not need this.

    31 is N 903 285 02 (around 40p) - you will need 2 of these. (fit with part 34)

32 is not needed as your armrest is already secured to the bracket.

    33 is 1J0 711 354 (around £3)

    34 is N 903 019 01 (around £1.30) - you will need 2 of these

    35 is N 015 038 11 (around £1)

Part 27 is an adapter of some sort. As your arm rest is already attached to your bracket, you shouldnt require this.

part 36 as a whole is around £29.

    Hope this makes sense.

Vag cat is basically a web version of etka. When you go into the dealers and ask for a part, they call it up on etka.

Its not legal so you cant really talk about it. lol.Whisper

its a doddle to fit too, about 30min start to finish, once you get the centre console out its obvious where everything goes

the only thing is, my rear cup holder doesnt see, to want to stay clipped in any more but i'll have a look another time
