Calling all regular Cornish members!

I thought it's about time we started a regular meet, maybe the 2nd or 3rd Saturday of every month? We could decide on a regular meeting place, or have it somewhere different every month, what do you all think? Idea, times, places lets hear it...

 Sounds like a plan, you want to try saturdays?more stuff to do, eg. ice skating, trips up north, maybe motor shows etc.

A regular meeting place sounds good but it can be unfair on some who travel further, and it limits us on meets.

just to be awkward, saturdays are a no-can-do for me, i only get saturdays to do things i can't do during the week, so i'm usually busy, sundays are a good day to chill out but if you guys decide saturdays i'll see which meets i can get to!

Not in cornwall but am in devon (exeter) which isnt a million miles away!!) So im sure i will pop along Not been to a meet yet :D looking forward to my first one

that sounds good to me Kris. although from end of march i'm back on Isle of Wight will then miss the may/june/july meets but will take the drive down when i can!!!!! Saturday will be good for me, as i can travel back on the sunday!

Saturdays are a no go for me but ill see what i can do if it arises.

From saltash area in cornwall so were all pretty spread out here.

i know Saltash very well, got family there!! at the top end, Kilergrew ave (bad spelling) and just behind the Fire Station.

 I would be well up for this and am also from saltash :)

 yo! that is a great date for me either day, its my last weekend in Kernow before i have to pack p and head back into England for 2years. for the regulars a leaving run on the saturday evening is a must!!! as to be Big City Truro!!!

Well i have ap motors booked for a vag rolling road day on the 21st, if people fancy doing that?

 where is ap motors??? could be a good day out, whats the price for the RR day?? if the price is right i'm sure people will be interested.  

 ap motors are in plympton and the cost is £35 for under 15 people and £30 after, so far we have got 8 on the list.

mine has only recently been on the RR, how about someplace like Padstow somewhere nearby?????

 I'm up for this meet if it's happening, but it's mothers day and were not going to get food, so it will be a picnic.

I don't know about the AP motors RR day, I think it went ahead.

Should get another Cornwall meet going soon. How's the 32 treating you?

Hey Kris, Yes the car is great many thanks for asking although i was very close to selling it and not because anything was wrong with the car but circumstances had changed, Thankfully it is all good now and i am keeping my .:R and to be honest after speaking to a few people about it im glad i did not get rid off because i just know i would have regreted it

I know you sold your .:R and now have the GTi mate which looks very nice i must say, How is it compared to the .:R

That's good news. Obviously I sold mine and got he GTI... I loved the r32, it was an amazing car, but at the time I was paying £1.26/l for v-power and the costs were just obscene! Fortunately I was able to do a good deal against the GTI and then petrol came down..and tax! LOL typical.

I don't regret it, apart from really wet days! The remapped GTI does break traction, a lot! But on the flip side it feels a fair bit quicker than the R32 ever did, so I cant complain.

Keep an eye on the S/W meets, I'll post up some meet ideas, maybe over the Easter break - see if we can get some fellow SW dubbers involved.

 hey you Cornish regular meeters!!! i'l be back one day for a meet!! stuck in Pompey/Isle of wight for a while now, keep in contact everyone i know. will try and get to a meet before ED38 this year, then maybe if people are going up i'l join the convoy!!
