Ok so i have had my car for just over a year now and i thought i would start a build up thread!

2003 MK4 Golf GT TDI

3Door

Diamond Black Paint

1.9 TDI PD 130

When i bought it on 29K Miles!:

After mainly concentrating on a new hobby of Car detailing i decided that when its service was due i would pop in a Green Cotton Air filter. This was done at 39K Miles

Then i thought i would sharpen up the handling with some Eibach Anti Roll Bars, No pics of these yet sorry

I then decided to go for it and bought a Set of 8.5 X 18" BBS CH 002s and a set of Eibach Pro Street S Coilovers

Thats it to Date but plenty more mods to come!

Wow, that paint work looks like a mirror finish.

Amazing pics mate, you must be chuffed with them.

really chuffed with the outcome, just talking about it on another forum and im going to get the front lowered a bit more to complete the overall look  and stance, then onto more new toys!

love the CH's and the pics are brilliant too!

raitkens83:  I use alot of Meguiars products for washing, drying, polishing and other cleaning bits!

The only thing i do not use that isnt meguairs is Collinite 476S Paste Wax, my car has 3 layers of this stuff on now and the wheels also have a coat of it . Its fantastic and the water beads up so well

Small Update on the Golf

Bought a sharan badge from my local VW Dealer :-)

Old badge

Cleaned the area:

New Sharan Badge and my Down 'N Out Sticker Courtesy of JDesigns:

I have now completely paid off my car = more money each month = more mods = :-D

Looking really good mate  . . . i may be bein thick but what the differnce between the badges?

Mike: - cheers matey - the badge i have on now is a VW Sharan rear badge, when you peel off the standard VW Golf Badge it leaves a small recess that the standard badge obviously covers.........The sharan badge fits neatly into the recess

I have to admit, its the most subtle mod i think i have ever done to a car, most people i dont think would notice, but if you look closely its alot smaller than the standard one!

 Cant believe the finish on that paint bud,your work really shows,love those wheels too,i reckon this is gonna be one sweet motor,keep up the good work mate!

wilkymk4 - thanks mate! hoping to make a start on performance mods soon and only last night i thought bout some more smoothing to the bodywork so who knows whats going to happen!!

I think a miltek exhaust is on the cards for the next mod, then a Forge FMIC :-)

believe the part number for the sharon badge is 7M3 853 630 AFD.

 car looks really good. the shine you get on the black is awesome. having just got my car back on the road after 5 months. it needs washing and polishing just thread through your guide and think i will get to work.

Thanks for comments guys, i think the part number that andy posted up is about right, i think there are a couple of varyations to the number but quote that one and you will get what you want!!

am not sure what to get next, TT brakes or Miltek!

Miltek Exhaust ordered from JBS auto Design

Went for Full turbo back with large bore downpipe, non resonated with 4Motion style rear pipes

might need adjusting slightly, am going to leave it abit longer to settle on the hangers

 im toying with the idea of that exhaust.

how does it drive and sound?

 Miltek's pretty awesome isn't it? Ive done the same thing with my TDi. Opens it up nicely doesnt it?
