    I'm a freelance motoring journalist working for several magazines (Golf + / PVW/Total BMW/Fast Car/Banzai/Mini World etc)

I've been doing some work with the owner of Ajec Racing in Gloucester who has asked me to see if I could sort some Rolling Roads out for him - is there anyone interested around Gloucester? It's a 4x4 Dyno Dynamics road (one of the most accurate system available - and I've been to lots around the country). At the moment he's willing to do it for £35 a car and would run about a dozen. I dont want to actually organise it - although I might well feature the day for a magazine....

    http://www.ajecracing.co.uk/

So is there enough interest ? somebody willing to sort it out?

I think I'd be up for it, would be nicer if it was £30 though...
Got my car dyno'd where I got it mapped so would be interesting for a independant result. Haven't really got enough time to organise it though Sad

Depending on dates and as long as it can do quattro (which it must be able to), count me in.  It'd be nice to see if my remap's claims are true!

It's the place opposite the Merc garage isn't it? (Damn Germans!)

Well it's a 4WD roller, and you're perminant 4WD so don't see why not. Think things are more difficult with the Golf/Bora 4motion as it tries to shift the power around the front and back. Just something I herd though.

I think I was there for that conversation, it was with someone who couldn't get their 4 mo done wasn't it?

Well the one i herd was when i was getting my car mapped. Was listening in to a convo lol. But now you mention it i think we were talking about it at some point. The easiest thing to do with the golf is take the fuse out to make it 2WD. Sure yours will be fine though. Should you have about 170hp like mine or did you get more?

Yes running 4x4xs wont be a problem - it's 4x4 rollers and they run Evos etc all the time.

No, got about 160, and limited torque too  Need to be careful with the quattro coz if you drop the clutch in a 2wd car it's spin, with 4wd, the clutch will die.  I'm just curious to see if what my remapper said was true!

    Ah right, fair enough Ben!

Well you'll only have problems if you're putting out more power than you clutch can handle.
If your 'landy' has standard power output you won't have a problem.
