Hi Nick,

Had a map done by you guys on my 1.8T ARZ a few weeks ago. Totally different car now. Ben did a great job, but he mentioned when he did the first diagnostic that there had been a water temp sensor error at some point, but he didn't do a second check on it when we got back. Do you have any plans to come down to London soon, as i'd appreciate you guys giving it the once over to check that all is well in there.

Thanks to Ben and the guys for doing a great job on my car today, it has been transformed. I got the stage 1 remap, pipercross panel filter and forge DV. The car now pulls much stronger and holds boost right through the rev range. Highly recommended!!

 Today i decided i wanted my car remaped and i gave the lads a call at about 1 o'clock and asked if they was busy and could fit me in and they said yes result so i jumped in the car and got to them by 3 o'clock they had me on the rollers straight away and power run my car then they mapped it and power run it again 130 tdi made 181bhp & 309 lb/ft of torque its a diffrent car to drive now im very happy cheers lads

Glad your happy with our service and your ko3s remap.

 I was pleased with the performance of your car it felt very strong and smooth as it should do, get the Forge 007p with yellow spring and you will find it a lot sharper on the pick up and in the midrange.   

   Your mates spec1 AGU remap felt strong at the top end, but lacked some torque down low for some reason?  plus the judder comming up the hill in 3rd gear shows that the is a silly under laying problem that needs finding and fixing.  I would start with the MAF,N75, vac lines, boost pipes, spark plugs coil packs etc. If he gets stuck finding the issues he is more than welcome to bring it to us and put it on the rolling road for a load based diagnostic test and data logging.    I wont charge him owt for having a look, as long as he can make a good coffee we will be happy.

 i am looking into changing my dump valve now so will let you know how much it makes a differance im real happy with how mine is now k03s is the way forward for any one that wants drivablity and more power highly recomend you guys to everyone... well what can i say about R-TECH as soon as i got there they got me in and started checking the car over before going on the rolling road,They found a boost leak underneath the car so they stripped the pipes off sorted the leak all included in the price,Then did the first run then remapped it then the second run,After this tinkered with the map until he was totally happy with the results.

car-skoda fabia vrs now 170bhp and 280nm the car was a total blast all the way back to Mansfield what a great car it is now thanks to the guys at R-TECH 

Had my 1.8T mapped yesterday, service is second to none, car is a dream to drive, the trip back down to Surrey was a lot quicker than the drive up! Can't recommend you guys enough!

Had my car mapped on saturday afternoon after a long 2 and a half hour drive was very chuffed with the difference in power from a standard map car does go like a train. Unfortunately couldnt get the car on rollers as boost pipe was leaking found by nick gutted would love to bring the car back when its done to get it on the rollers to see what im getting thanks nick and ben and thanks for letting me know about the £50 discount for the map lol just got on the forum now and found out about it lol...

Having already had my car mapped by another company and not been happy with it - and now having the necessary modifications for stage 2 - it was time for a new map! Having done some research i quickly noticed all the positive feedback coming in from people who had visited R-Tech.

I went down there Saturday afternoon after having a quick chat with Nick on the phone, who i was instanly impressed with - Great customer service from the off!

Before we started they scrutineered my car, checking for any common faults etc.
It turned out i had leak in the PCV system. This would have been spotted had the original company who mapped it had even checked for any possible faults.
The car was then VAG-COM checked to see if there were any other underlying issues.
Having been given the all clear Nick took my car out for a spin - i think he was unimpressed with the map on there. He then took me out in another golf that had been mapped by themsleves to show me how a stage 1 should really  feel. The difference was night and day. Not only was there more power but the delivery was completley spot on.
We then put my car on the rollers and straight away you could tell that there was something not quite right - which the other company should have flagged imediatley. All the lads are R-Tech mucked in to try and get my car running right - eliminating every possible cause of the problem.

Once loading R-Techs stage 1 map the car preformed completley different. So much more useable power and so much more torque. Due to the leak Nick didnt want to push my car to hard so the stage one software stayed on.

I will be definatley going back to R-Tech ASAP to finish off the mapping work as soon as i have my PCV issues sorted.
There was a completley different level of customer service and knowledge offered to me at R-Tech compared the last company i visited for mapping - Who are a reputable company found on the forum.

The lads are all helpful, genuine and knowladgble people! - If your looking for a map - These are your guys!

I cant wait to go down there and get stage 2!!

Hi guys, had my car set up on the rolling road, see my Build Thread for details. Just wanted to say what a fantastic service I received again from all the guys at R-Tech. Take such care with their work and your car too, little example Nick made a protective piece of cardboard for the sensor to clamp to my exhaust tailpipe. Only little I know, but have been to other places before where this kind of detail not been carried out.

A fantastic service all round and great advice. Very pleased with my power and I'll order that N75 up Nick.

Had my Golf remapped about 2 1/2 yrs ago by a company who claimed they could work wonders, no such luck, Ive since put up with the faults ( cutting out, irradic idling, poor performance !).Then i got talking to Nick , he told me that he would sort my problems for me.

Had a quick trip down and met the TOP crew at R-Tech, these guys welcommed me and sorted my car there and then, They even took me for a blat in one of their cars ( legal speeds were adhered to of course ).

I would highly recommend these guys to all, because i know its not a turbo but at least my car now puts a smile on my face again, all thanks to these boys.....

 Hi Had my 03 Golf GTI 180T remapped by the guys at R-Tech yesterday what an excellent choice i wont be taking my car any where else in future.The service the guys provide is second to none if there was a problem they sorted it  and they werent happy until the car is perfect.I havent stop smileing since.

The remap went well and the power delivery is excellent and smooth mine went from 177bhp and 145lb of torque to 211 and 205lb of torque just with the stage 1 remap they allso pointed out that a couple of mods i had allready done werent quite right.I will be going back for a stage 2 remap once i get bored of this 1 but at the moment its EXCELLENT. I would not take my car any where else and the guys are so helpfull many thanx guys

Picked up my car from rtech today. Having had my fair share of problems and bad luck for about 6 months, Nick told me to leave my car with them for a few days and he'll sort it. Dropped it off on wednesday afternoon and it was ready yesterday (but picked it up today), its a total transformation. He did a lot of handy work in the engine bay and he remapped my car again, he certainly knows his stuff. I'd recommend R-tech to anyone. Excellent customer service and brilliant results

R-Tech Power

 Well i went to get my car remapped today from R tech. As soon as i got there they got to work. Firstly, my car was checked over and vagcommed. Then up it went onto the rolling road for a run before the map. Next the car was mapped and was then up on the rolling road again. Its a 100bhp model and it made 130bhp. The car has been completely transformed. It now has a much smoother drive to it and picks up reallly well. The drive home left me with a huge smile :D. It is so much quicker through the gears. The customer service was EXCELLENT, all my questions were answered and everyone working there seemed polite and happy to help. They were also careful with my car. I would recommend an R-tech remap to anyone. A big thank you to nick and the rest of the R-tech team. P.S. Thanks for the R-tech sticker, looks really good :D.

Had my car remapped to day at my house and all i can say is awesome. The guys were very friendly and knew their stuff. Took the car for a spin after the remap and wow bloody thing pulls and pulls right upto the limit. Am now gonna start thinking stage 2 and i know who i will be calling, so if anyone wants a remap i cant reccomend the rtech guys enough.Cheers.

took my little Fabia 1.9 Tdi  (PD 100bhp   ATD engine)  for a basic remap and rolling road.

The guys went out of their way to make sure the car was good and healthy before applying a remap.

The car initially felt not too much quicker, so I asked Nick to see if he could do a bit more,

Nick rewrote the map, and once again handed me the keys.. 

Car felt quite a bit more lively,  very very smooth (no sudden surges of power and therefore unwanted wheelspin out of wet junctions), and it now will hold the power towards the red line,   

What I really love is how smooth the throttle is.  R-tech's remaps don't  have that aweful feeling you get (that many other remaps/tuners) have of an OVER SENSITIVE throttle.  

The throttle is very much like stock,   you have the full control over the full travel of the throttle pedal.

The rolling road confirmed that the car was now pulling

130bhp   (compared to 115bhp stock!)

230lbs torque (compared to 200 stock!)  

Loving the way the car drives now,   you can bumble along as before and achieve good economy figures,  or you can enjoy stronger power over a wider rev range than before.

So a big thumbs up for the guys Nick and the guys @ R-tech.

 Not actually been there myself yet but rang R-Tech on Monday asking for some advice and to price up a re-map, turbo back exhaust, short shifter etc...

Was on the phone for around half an hour discussing the options which i thought was really good that they are taking an interest when they cant be sure that i am actually gonna be spending money with them (I will be... but thats besides the point)

Not sure who it was i spoke to but they said they would call me back on Tuesday with some prices for me... Thursday came and still hadnt heard anything back so i decided to ring again!

Spoke to someone different this time (sorry, cant remember names for shoot!) and they said they would call me back in the next 2 hours with some prices...

So here we are, Friday afternoon and havent heard anything back!

They've not called you probably because I've been buggin them all this week, let alone last few week and that I was their today and taken up plenty of their time, lol

They may not have called you back but I would encourage you to call them up again atleast one more time. It is definetly going to be worth your while. You can always send them a personal message just the same.

No one said the R-Tech call centre was any good.lol.its just 3 of us running the company and at this time of year we are fully booked up in the workshop and with 30+ emails per day, 20+PMs and over 30 phone call every day it gets too much. It would be nice to employ full time office staff but the prices would need to go up..

You quote is unique as we have never tried the combination of the products that your wanting, I have all your details on my pad and the details from the suppliers, but the number passed on to me goes direct to a females voice mail when i tried to call it twice,, I will have a look a Chris note pad from monday to see if I was given the wrong number,  PM me your number if you can.

With us you need to persist, when you have a few min spare keep to the case and ring us, or pm or email..you will get  there in the end.  its just Ben and Chris wont pull me off a job to answer the phone, you need to catch me between jobs. 

Our products and service is outstanding just the admin side of the job is total pants.

Had Nick and Ben out a few weeks ago to remap my 1999 AGU, only had the car a couple of months and amazingly no faults came up when they scanned it!!

They soon had it mapped and Nick took it for a test drive, it didn't look good when he came back after 15 seconds, he knew something was up and had the bonnet up straight away, he found a split in a vacuum hose and said the pcv was knackered and the DV was shot too, unfortunately their van was off the road at the time and they didn't have the parts to fix it in their car, if they had the bits they would have soted it for me.

I got the bits they recommended including a forge 007p dv with a yellow spring and took it for a drive,WOW!!! what a difference, loads more power and it pulls all the way through the revs, and it sounds great too.

Can't recommend R-Tech enough, top service.

It was me that you spoke to first, and yes I can go on a bit.. i get a little enthusiastic about modifying vw's, even though i have similar phone conversations several times a day

i will put my hands up for this one and take the blame for not shoving the notepad under nick's nose enough times... twice wasn't enough obviously!
