     Hi,

I recently unforunately ran into an accident with a kerb. Now the alloys I have are RS4 (old style), 16". I'm having difficulty trying to find just the one wheel. The rest of my wheels are fine, so was hoping I could pick up the wheel from somewhere... I've found a seller on eBay, but they only sell them as a whole set of 4.

Just wanted to know if anyone had a set of the same, or by any chance even have just one out of a set available for sale?

The wheel was quite badly hit, but the rubber can be moved over to the new wheel. The current rubber is Pirelli P6000 with 205/55/R16

The information I got from the inside of the wheel is:

    7J x16H2

    ET42

Unless someone can suggest a new set of alloys (preferably 17" this time), with rubber... For a reasonable price. (I.E. £400 - or less ideally!)

Had a similar problem myself and was attempting to get hold of one wheel.

Wheel-base do brand new sets of 17" wheels with budget tyres for around the £400 mark and have some reasonable styles.

The other option is trying to track them down on the bay.

Monty's wheels and tyres also sometimes have VW OE wheels and tyres at OK prices.

    Hope you get it sorted.

You could try ebay, they sometimes have one alloy advertised!

Have tried eBay. Have found a set, but the guy only sells them in 4's. Even though he states he has around 10 sets.

Looks like I might as well get a new set. I'm looking for the same type, but i guess with 17's instead this time. Unless someone can suggest a different style to go for..

You don't know how many weeks/months/years you might be waiting for to get hold of a single matching alloy. If it was me then I'd try and find a reasonably priced set of 17s to replace them. Then set up some saved search alerts on ebay and keep an eye out for a spare alloy to complete the old set - then you can either decide to sell them as a set or keep them for winter wheels.
