Yep ive stupidly gone and locked the keys in my car!

although it is a spare car, (mk4). it has no battery in it. i was just finishing doing a few things to it, then i manually locked the doors, only to find the keys are still in the ignition! The boot is locked as i had manually locked before

anywhom the bonnet is still open and i can give it some life if need be, could a kind soul please guide me as to how i can retreive the keys with minimal (or preferably no) damage?

    thanks

Would connecting a battery pop the locks? It may well do - worth a try!

Smash a front window after putting sticky tape on it to minimise the mess,£10 from the breakers yard for a second hand window and about an hour at the most to DIY replace it.

The car can't be unlocked from the ECU which only controls the engine functions. To do it to that level of technicalness you'd need access to the CCM and something that can write CAN-BUS data.
There is a much, much easier way that only needs you to...........................
