 yes i am a whimp but i get bored quickly and i will only use 5 tanks there and back and still have some left over

yeah dates would be the 10th-16th plenty of time,book the 17th off so you could get some rest

i got some proper plans just for this show,we have to go full out for this one because most of us will only go the once with our cars

so the dates planned as i think will it include the ring or not

 Read this thread through and through... then showed it my mates and we're deciding to do this then do the Ring then 'Stelveo Pass" I think it was called in Italy as our annual getaway but drag it out into a 2 week road trip.

i did consider going towards swiss/italian borders, but that could be a big ask having driven all that way!

How much are the tickets roughly dude?

i think about 40€ for the full trip and we will NOT even be let into the area without them in FULL view in the windscreen

I will sort out a LAST stop before the border of Austria where we can get out stickers for the Austrian Autobahn at 7-10€ for a 2 week trip and is the MIN you can buy

To book the hotels, we need to know the dates that we plan to stay. I presume that we'll leave in the small hours of Monday morning, check in late Monday night.

How many nights do people want to stay, bearing in mind a twin/double room looks to be about £90-100 a night.

Those going via the Nurburgring on the way home might want to stay one night less, as they will have one night at a 'ring hotel anyway.

Just had a butchers around the internet and found that the show dates are 12th - 15th of May, and entry is roughly 45 Euros per car + driver, and 10 Euros per extra person.

Been looking at hotels, and it really depends what we're willing to pay, as to where we go.

For me and 2 mates for 3 nights, I've found a hotel just off a motorway service area, for £298 all in. (£100 each)

Or a hotel next to the lake on the south shore, with all mod cons, for £736 all in. (£245 each)

 yeah leave early the monday morning(midnight probably) and check in late monday evening...also i would prefer the cheaper hotel if im going solo and would be six nights if planning on leaving the sunday

This hotel looks quite good, only 8 miles away from the lake, and a good price too.

The two hotels next to the lake seem to be the top two in that link I posted. There's a castle which is about £500 a night!

It looks like if you can got 5-8 miles away from the lake, then there are cheaper deals available. I'd rather stay in a hotel, but camping would be a laugh!

this one, good find. looks good for what we need, not far, and works out £160 per person. plus all charges are included.
