     Hi guys and girls.

I've not been on here much recently due to work commitments and a loss of love for my golf, but as the weather starts to get worse and the nights darker I thought I'd re kindle the old flame and start tinkering again with the old girl. So to celerbrate my new found love for the golf I thought I'd organise a rolling road day at CC tunings new place at Burton.

I know that there are quite a few of you on here that have had Chris re-map your cars for you when he was mobile, so thought it would be a good chance to show his new business some support and organise the event there.

I thought it would be a good time to organise the day just before christmas too, so that all you who have new toys for your cars over christmas know what it was performing like before hand, so provisional date is either Saturday the 19th or Sunday the 20st, depending on what suits people best.

Date now set for Sunday 4th April

Here's a link to the website so you can find the address- http://www.cctuning.co.uk/

I think that all makes sense, so come on guys and girls, who's up for it?

    List so far-

    alleyroo

    davo01 (maybe not on rollers)

    C7KWC

    goody_gti

    Nrees87

    jay2dogs

I've lost love for my golf too, I even found myself checking out BMW's the other day. This might be just the thing to get me back on track. I'll be there- unsure whether I'll be on the rolling road though, still got clutch issues!

I know what you mean Chris, I've said about a thousand times recently that I'm getting rid of the golf, but just can't do it lol.

Anyone got any preference if it's Saturday or Sunday? It makes no odds to me bu others may have commitments that they have to work around.

You have a good point there mate lol.

I think it'd be better for Goody on Sunday too as I think he'll have football on the saturday.

Got to get back down to Chris's place now then to see if I can get more power out the old girl lol.

Will have to confirm the price but I believe it will be £35 per car for three runs including a print out at the end.

Mate it's been nothing but trouble. But it's getting there slowly, had to cheap out and put a standard clutch & DMF on when the sachs one got destroyed by the flywheel. Not putting down nearly as much power as before, but be interesting to see what shes running at now.

    Stick me down mate.

Did you still haver the standard flywheel on with the uprated clutch or was it a single mass one? Bit worrying to hear that something that expensive died so quick!!!

Names on the list anyway mate.

Yes mate it was the standard DMF with a Sachs Organic Clutch & Pressure Plate. Got an LUK DMF & Clutch on there now, it's fine but you can tell it isn't putting down nearly as much power as the Sachs. Early next year I'll be going for a Helix Solid Mass Flywheel and Cerametallic Paddle Clutch to put the power down :D

Should have tyres with grip for this day as well :D
