Little update, not been on for a while!! Had it lowered on springs for now until I can afford some coilovers and got some tyres for the wheels I have had sitting in the garage!! Here's a couple of pics

Going to get these wheels refurbed, or maybe completly different ones, not too sure yet.

It's a 1.8t sport. Just need to get the damn thing re-mapped :)

Think I might go for the Jamex myself. One of my mates (Slot who replyed earlier ^^) Let me have a go of his golf estate which has them and they felt great!!!

Well, thanks to Scott (grellow) and some wider rear dishes, this happend!!

Rear has been sorted out as it looks lop-sided in the pic from behind. Going to get the Anti-roll on soon and get it wound down some more!

Err.. well I would imagine the owner will care. Unless he intends driving it illegally.

Edit: Incidentally. remind me how you feel about illegal lights.Stick out tongue

As far as I know (I may be wrong) it will only fail if the tread of the tyre sticks out further than the body, which it doesn't so hopefully will be ok. If not, the original wheels will be back onWink

Who are you asking about illegal lights??

Spot on mate, exactly the reply I would have given and the 'dig' about the lights would have been aimed at me mate!!

    Keep up the good work!!!

Fair comment mate apart from the fact that driving with 'illegal' lights effects other road users whereas IMHO driving with wheels that stick out slightly wider than your wheel arch is realisticly going to effect no-one!!

But then I am sure you all agree that most forum members have something on their car that they shouldn't have.....maybe even you PJ!?!?!?!?! Stick out tongue
