  • Volkswagen Scirocco Studie R

    It was a triumphant drive: in May 2008, three Scirocco GT24 cars lined up at the start of the 24-hour endurance race on the Nürburgring track. At the wheel: driving legends the likes of Hans-Joachim Stuck and Carlos Sainz. The teams drove two 238 kW / 325 PS strong race cars to a dual victory at the finish line, first and second in their class.     Hot on the heels of the ABT Scricco , fellow German Tuning moguls Oettinger have unveiled their package for the newly released Volkswagen Scirocco. Sporting restyled front and rear bumpers, side skirts and wheels this has to the most eye catching Scirocco redesign so far.     Ahead of the UK launch of the new Golf GTI on May 22, Volkswagen has constructed a Scalextric track on an epic scale inside a hangar to lend armchair (or office chair) enthusiasts the chance to race the new hot hatch online and against the clock.   • Volkswagen aims for a second successive year in Nurburgring 24H

    Wolfsburg (13 May 2009).
