So this is how I picked it up

Having mad a Mk3 before the first mod had to be the badges

Also got a bit bored of the Golf badge so that came off next

Grey leather interior

So the car is still pretty basic, many more things to follow!

So this weekend i had a play with a machine polisher

Nasty scratch on the roof before the polish

One after giving it a couple of goes over

Very impressed with this so i did the whole car...... took me A LOT longer than i was expecting.

1st time i'd used one mate - pretty straight forward.

Until i clipped my aerial with the thing and sent in flying!

No idea what i used mate, found it at the back of my dads garage from when he used to be a panel beater. Pretty heavy duty looked like an angle grinder [H]

Was testing the headlight washer only to see one of them shoot about 3 feet into the air! Got the bumper off to be confronted with this...

I think the new part from VW is around £25 but I'ts a really simple design so i decided to have ago and fix it. I'ts an EXTREMLY tight fit to get it all back togther properly.

Another week more stuff to do! I was getting bored of the standard trim so i decided to paint it ..... Didn't know how much work was invovled in gett the cage out!

Nice amount of dirt money and *** ends found in here.....

I got an unexpected day off work today so MOD TIME! De-wipered the back window looks a lot better and cleaner Sharran badge is going on at the weekend as well.

Also De-locked the driver and passenger doors - easiest mod in history!

, maplins do a label remover, fantastic stuff, and there's loads of other stuff you can use.

Have to admit, I never thought of that but with a trusty thumbnail to remove the worst of it & white spirit/AG paint renovator, mine came off a treat!
