Hi somehow the o/s front sill on my mk5 has a dent , looks to be caused by a misplaced jack pad etc as it is inline with the arrow impression as to where the jack point is and a puck sized impression but have not pushed the jack under enough and jacked up on the sill  , Its not noticeable if stood looking but kneel down and its there , not super deep so the penny must of dropped before a total cave in , but big enough to super bug me now i know . I have tried the glue on dent pullers but its to solid and i had no joy but i will try again weather permitting .

I don't really want to grind off the stone chip and tack a bolt or anchor on to pull it out if can be helped . Does anyone know if i can gain access from inside the car before i rip the carpet and trim out to look myself , Is there ie a grommet so that i can knock it out from inside , thanks

No, but you can cut the whole sill out, buy a replacement and weld it in.

It'll come to you eventually when your mk4 rusts away.

All a bit extreme as its solid hence why i dont want to strip and weld a pull onto it , i was hoping there were access grommets internally .
