Help needed.
I have a mk4 golf 04 gttdi. I fitted new Depo complete led rear lights to my car last night. Driving to work this morning and the glow plug light keeps flashing and 'engine workshop' message comes up on the dash. Ive looked online and its to do with faulty brake lights but my lights work fine but when i turn my lights off the brake lights stay on very faintly. Ive read that they need resistors but the lights already have resistors on them so im stuck. Ive checked the brake light switch and that is fine. Im at a loss as to what to do, any ideas???

you will need to add resistors to the brake light circuit to match the resistance of the stock lights. They may have resistors built in but they are obviously not sufficient.
