Hi guys, the golf I recently bought has the standard turn dials for heating. I want the climatronic one I had when I had a mk4 golf. can I but the climatronic and will it fit straight into where the old one goes into same wiring loom?

Sadly climatronic is 100% different to a 3dials manual AC system.

It's not just a fancy panel, but the wiring , the sensors , and all the vents are electric to control the air flow .

It's a huge swap, not a simple panel swapsie

Probably just ping off the panel or round knobs and replace the bulbs

It's been covered. Rotate fan switch to setting 2; then pull with pliers.

Weve got 3 mk4s, 2 with climatronic and one with the dials and buttons, imo the dials seem to work better! climatronic is a bit fiddly to use
