Hi I'm new to the golf scene and in regards to tuning in just looking for a few pointers so I'm wondering if you can help me out!

Firstly I think my engine code is asv 1582 does this sound correct?

I want to upgrade the injector nozzles is there any that would just fit straight in?

And also I'm wondering what turbo I could add again is there any models that will just bolt straight on?

My golf is remapped to 165bhp not much I know!! Its also got a problem code which is 17965 and its a turbo issue does anyone know of a solution to this?

Its been lowered on fks and that's about it so any help would be great guys!

Many thanks for reading! 4ab19798357223a131d9fdb4532bdcd2.jpg02c5675e1a253b4c8ac27a78f3635757.jpg

I am not too sure about your engine code.  There is normally a sticker under the carpet in the boot that has all the information about your car on it.  Including which engine you have.  Below is an example,

Could I still upgrade turbo and injectors on that engine?

Yes. Nozzles from 2.5 tdi transporter fit, the 5 cyl one. Turbos from pd range fit, go pd130 or better pd150. Along with the supporting mods and a MUST is a remap.

Thanks for the info!! Big help as there is little available on this model! Any idea what not after a remap? Would it be greater than the 165bhp its already at?

110 with a map gets around 130~hp. Doubt you have 165. That fault code may mean you have sticky vnt, boost leak... Clean codes and see if it comes back after a day or two.
Other mods could be 11mm plunger, non restrictive exhaust, egr delete, pd intake, ic, pipes around. All of them combined should see you 165, probably more, hard to say, been a long time.
