Was on 'How Rare Is My Car' and according to that there are only 3 (three) GOLF V5 20V 51's in the UK. Considering this & it's a Colour Concept Jazz blue, is it Really Rare?

What is the rarest? (and no 'ones that don't have issues' answers)

44 Tornado Red R32s.They did a rarer colour that wasn't officially available in this country, don't know the VW name for it but it's similar to Ford's Moonstone Grey they did Cossies in,something like 20 sold in the uk.

Not sure it's rare, but I've only just acquired a mk4 golf 1.8t in grey, not 100% it's the LC7V color as above (will check later) but not much different. Took me nearly 6 months to find one in a good condition. But the best feeling so far is that I've still not seen another since I've been driving around :D

I've just moved back to my old house, and on my road, there's a pretty rare Mk4.

It's on an 04 plate (so one of the last, newest models) in what I'm sure is Silverstone Grey. I thought Silverstone was a US-only colour, but it's right hand drive with UK spec bumpers and a British plate.

I'd say that's rare if you ask me.

Just trying to build my idea of a clean Mk4.

just got back and checked my paint code. apparently it's LC7V - however to me this colour is grey, and the log book agrees. according to vw colour chart it's Blue Anthrazit

is there a difference between a 2001 V5 (not rare, 1187 registered) and a 2001 V5 20V(rare)?

mine is a 20V (AQN engine code) but registered with DVLA as a GOLF V5 (I've always been common) :D

You'd think it would be registered under the V20?

Yay! another v5 170 owner!

Well according to 'How rare is my car' it seems all the owners are in this Thread  :D

 http://www.howrareismycar.co.uk/cars/volkswagen-golf.aspx?year=2001

I just (wrongly obviously) that the Golf V5 was the v10 150

GOLF V5 1,098

and that they had a separate entry for ours

GOLF V5 20V 3

After seeing your comments on the V5 we searched my 2002 3 door 20v 180 bhp V5 and found that mine was the only one registered on the road in the UK

You can tell people that they are more Bugatti Veyrons in the UK than your Golf

Out of interest, what are yours registered with the DVLA as, I mean on the the V5 document what does it say?

I presume that only a few dealers registered them as V5 20Vs and the rest just stuck with V5.
