Just ordered a new Integrated Engineering Cold Air Intake for the VW Golf from CLP Automotive in Sheffield!

Should hopefully be arriving early next week so will update with more pictures. So far done a lot of background research on these and air intakes sound the best!

Has anyone had any experience of these before or heard them?

That's unreal. People have too much money. Could make that for £10; easily.

All seemed a relatively normal price given Revo charge a very similar price for their CAI

I'd have just built one for less.

What air intake do you have on yours?

Second hand bmc cda would be alot better than that. If you bought it because of that video then your mad. That is a shocking video for sounds and it wont give you any extra power

Having looked at APR, Revo and other main manufacturers for cold air intakes for the Golf, the precision engineering came out best. Completely understand a lot of people are very different and somehow the OP has got a lot of people saying quite negative things immediately, i'll fit the item to the car and see what is sounds like.

Thanks,

It'll sound exactly the same as just a filter. Not negative; just it's a lot of money for basically no gains IMO.

It may sound better but as above alot of money just for the sound when a second hand bmc cda sounds better and wont suffer from heat soak anywhere near as much. Its your choice that's what makes the world go round
