Very nice [:D]

Heavier than the Mk6 GTI (1318kg) though, i thought it was meant to be lighter

Didn't really like the look of standard MK7's, this however is very nice!

Bit dissapointed with only 230bhp, 03 Leon Cupra R's had 5bhp less than that!? Sometimes don't understand the way they do the power allocation across the VAG range, Seat are supposed to be a cheaper VW, and I personally think that inside they are, but when it comes to power, the MK2 Cupra had more power than this and the Cupra R had alot more!

Then the R is coming out with rumoured 286bhp, still not as much as the Cupra 310 model [:(] Just don't understand it!

Still love VW though [:D]

Very nice Big Smile

Apparently that's with all the fluids in and a full tank of fuel, with a driver! Not sure how true it is however!

Update to the PistonHeads article:

Since we published VW has been in touch to confirm pricing and some other detail info.
The new GTI starts at £25,845 for a three-door manual, the DSG version £27,260. The five-door is £26,500 for a manual, £27,915 for DSG.
The GTI Performance version will be +£1,000 and gets vented rear disc rotors among the changes mentioned above."

Think I prefer the standard 18s. Quite like the design.

UK prices have been confirmed at £25,845 for the 3dr Manual. Seems good value as that's only £185 over the MK6 GTI. I'd be surprised if the GTD cost more, suspect it will probably start in the late 24s.

Seems good value to me but its biggest threat is the BMW 125i M Sport....

Do you reckon that is Candy White or Oryx White?

Does the GTI/GTD have ADC? as it seems to be conflicting as to whether these models will carry the feature or not :(
