Just update myself....

 

Unfortunately my window has done the dreaded snap of the old plastic clip so Im going to have to spend all of tomorrow stripping my door right down and replacing the clips []  £35,57 was a hefty price.

I just replaced the clips in my prev Golf,...Much easier than replacing the whole mechanism [Y]

Yeah suppose so, Its just a shame that the entire door has to be stripped down to change 2 relatively small clips. []
