WIll be very interested to see if it does sell at that price - i don't think it would, but the prices some anni's go for always surprises me.

How come it has got the Vortex front splitter and not the Anni one?

Nice car Yes

Tony

Cheers mate, from what i know and have seen on other Anni's it is the Anni front splitter!

IT's an anni splitter and Defo not a votex splitter - votex one on my 4, check it out.

It's worth what someone is willing to pay for it, keep it up at that price and see what kindof offers you get in, personally I wouldnt let it go for less than 7500.

That red one is clean looking in the ad. If it's as good in person and the right person is looking at it, it'll get damn near what he's looking. Good to have the spare set of wheels aswell.

Useful to know as mine will be going in 4-6 weeks. Pricing is always difficult

I have just bought a Silver PD with 72k on the clock full VW history i paid £7500 for it and i'm more than happy with the price i paid, regarding the comments of these being overpriced, i personally would have to disagree, the styling is absolutely bang on, there was only 1800 made which makes then attractive to people  also if you get the diesel version it's a wise buy on the running cost side of things

I had a V6 4motion before and lost a lot of money on it due to the current trend of people wanting to buy diesels or smaller engined cars.

Im the one who paid the mental price of £8200 for Hanno130's Golf lol

I recently sold my own 08 MK5 170tdi GT Sport because I wanted to go back to the MK4's. After do loads of research on the Anni's before I decided to go for one I realised there are 2 opinions on them:

1. Its a rare car with only 1800 being made so its worth whats someone is willing to pay for it.

2. Your completely nuts for paying £7- 8k for an 02 car

I paid over the odds but its a car I have always wanted and will hold onto a lot longer than my MK5.  As Hanno already knows Ive already started doing loads of work to the anni to get it back to its "show room" condition.

Its a high price for what is "Just a Golf" but in my mind it was worth the money even though I did pay on the high side.

Its a car that will only appeal to a small amount of people, be it true VW enthusiasts [:P]
