This is how it looks on my GT with standard Discover Nav.

The dealer refused to give me any new media cables with mine, so I said fine and promptly took both cables from my Mk6 (the next owner will have to go buy some more). Disappointing when they nickel & dime customers after shelling out so much.

I rarely use the socket ever since I'd ripped and stored all my tracks on a Sandisk 32GB class-10 SD card and popped it into the glovebox slot.

Is that the interior of the glove locker? Not lined with furry liner any more, like the MK6?

Bought new Golf MK7 Match Edition 1.4 TSI 125ps Manual.

Not tried it yet, keep meaning to get some for my beemer.

Chipex, read it's good stuff, pretty expensive compared to touchup stic,k but it's meant to be a lot less visible.

No, that's the front storage in front of the gear stick.

Had a quick read about that today - it's about £55 I think. Need to read more

I've just been on the site looking. You can enter the paint code if you know it, does that not work?

Found it. If you put in white and golf and 2013 if doesn't give the option of pure white. Paint code works though :Y:

MK7 GTD is seriously growing on me. Love the headlights, interior and sides, just not a fan of the squinting rear lights and the black bits of the front bumper (lower side grills)

other than that, fantastic car! good colour too  ...

Marvin, VW have done away with the ashtray and replaced it with a rubber lined cubby hole. It's a space more suited to MP3/mobile devices, so they're right next to the car's interface connector. It's really not that necessary if you've got devices with Bluetooth (wireless) as the integration with the Mk7 Discover Nav infotainment is easy and smooth. Simpler still, is just depositing all of your music on an SD card and popping it into the free slot in the glovebox - it's child-like simplicity which I appreciate  :)    On a further note, the standard in-car infotainment & speakers are very good, the sound quality a tad better than my previous Mk6 IMHO.

My original order detail specifies VW Pure White as code 0Q0Q (zero-Q-zero-Q).

Mine's picked up about half a dozen chips on the bonnet and front bumper after 9,900 miles. Each time after washing the car, I just use the standard VW paint stick that I bought on day 1 from the dealer and dab on the least amount of touch up paint and apply again if it's a deep impact. I'm finding white easy to mask and more forgiving on those kind of blemishes unlike Pearl Black which you could always see where the touch-ups had been made.

Still no warranty claims after 6+ months compared to the half dozen on the Mk6.

ooooo how how how ?!?!

I too am finding my Mk7 to be MUCH more refined and awesome than my 6R Polo.

Although the MPG is about 30% off of the quoted  ;)  cant really complain as the last tank of diesel i had was completely free

also quite enjoying a white car, even if it is a diesel and driven mainly on back roads.... washed mine today at work and it was black by the time i got home

only available with Pro nav..

go here...

http://www.volkswage...enderlogos.html

download the radio logos and copy to an SD card. Put the card in the slot in the glovebox. Go to radio, then set up and radio logo and find the relevant ones. You have to do them individually per saved station but it takes 5 minutes tops

I'm not finding white too bad to live with.
