well yesterday i took the 800 mile round trip to collect my new car. previously had a stage 2 GTI on air but the love just dissapered and ever since i got my first golf I've always wanted an .:R so over the past few months I've kept an eye out for the perfect one and luckily spotted someone selling this one but had only put one post up on instagram saying so. its had a decat done and the wheels powder coated also had a full re-trim and headliner done in alacantra (previous owner was a trimmer) spent the day cleaning it so here's some pictures

so far I'm loving it! the noise is brilliant videos of these just dont do them justice.

i was worried about it not being as good as the stage 2 GTI power wise but its a animal, it just dosnt have the kick the turbo gives but its equally as fast if not more and with the 4 wheel drive its awesome.

plans for it just now are to leave it as it is over the winter and enjoy it then hopefully get the air on next year and possibly a miltek oh and i still have the speedlines that i can put on

oh and heres a short video

it was a tough decision as you said because it was really transforming i just felt i was bored and buying things for it just to try and regain the enjoyment of it, but the .:R is something else

Interior is a nice touch, had my R for over a month now and still can't get over how different it is to other mk4's I have had.
