Starting a GTD
Hi folks

Just picked up a new GTD And I have one hopefully simple question for you!

When I insert the key and depress the clutch prior to engine start, the needles on the speedo and rev counter move around the dials and settle back to zero. But this only happens sometimes! I am not starting the car in a different fashion so I would like to know why the needles move prior to start sometimes and not others.

Hopefully I am making some sort of sense!

Thanks

Ok thanks, certainly only happens now and again which I find strange but doesn't seem to be affecting anything so I am not worrying.

Thanks

I think if you are switching the ignition on and off it will only do it once until you open and close the drivers door, does on my Passat anyway.
