And your coilies, are they Weitec GT / TX?

Think I'll be going for those Weitecs at some point. I've heard the ride is pretty good? Would rather pay a bit more than JOM prices if you know what I mean!

I've also heard alot of people saying their coilies don't go down far enough at the back, and having to take the adjuster out, but yours sits pretty nicely at the back, with the adjusters in.

Tis a nice motor!

Cheers my rears can go down loads more and the fronts are well up. Trouble is the sumpguard bangs on most speed bumps as it is. I like the ride it is quite hard though. I have no rear ARB but boy does it take bends and roundabouts well. Its like its on rails[gamer]

I can't find any listing for the De-cat. What ID is the de-cat, has it made much difference and did you buy it recently??

proper tidy car bud bit more lows and some outside body touched perhaps r32 OEM parts to tie in with the wheels would set it off a treat

will do mate not sure if I can get the pipes to do it this weekend. Good job I didnt order connectors on the sellers say so of the inlet and outlet been 2 inch as they are 60mm. Im sure the 57mm top hose to EGR will stretch on. Ive got a 1.8t pancake pipe (60mm end onto intercooler) I just need to adapt the other end  onto the red hose from the turbo behind the front wheel.

i'm sure the 57mm elbow will fit fine, the SFS adaptor was 62mm and i made the 57mm elbow fit it.

Very interested in how you adapt the red turbo hose though, as i've never looked at mine so no idea what would be involved

Right its on...Fits like a glove! I have kept the PD130 pancake on for now as I couldnt get the required adaptor for the 1.8t pancake pipe. The intercooler mounts all lined up perfectly, you do need to use the spacers off the old rubber insulated cooler mounts. Just take the metal spacers off and use them as packers. there was a very slight problem mounting the MAP sensor as the holes did not line up 100%. it was a gnats c0ck out. To get round the problem I took the 2 metal bushes out of the sensor holes and it all lined up and perfect. I took the SFS adaptor from the EGR replacement pipe and used it in the end of the pancake pipe. I had a 60mm coupler that came with my 1.8t pancake, this coupled the intercooler inlet to the sfs pancake adaptor. The outlet on the Intercooler is 60mm and I managed to get my 57mm bend straight on this coupled up to my EGR replacement pipe. Pics to come shortly.

Went for a test drive,  got the engine up to temp and gave it some beans all I can say is wow!!!!!!!!! what a difference[:o] Picks up really well, hardly any lag and just seems to rev so much cleaner[:D]

Looks a really good fit!

So come on then, was this a one off or are there more for sale, and how much was it, hehe!

Also, with this installed how many of those pesky VW hose clips are you left with? Is it just the join from the IC to the pancake that has it now?

This was available from turborevs £100...but sold out straight away (see other thread) I have 2 pesky clips left, red turbo pipe to pancake and the pancake to IC. I will be putting the 1.8t pancake pipe on when i get the couplers i need. That will leave me leak free.
