Well this is me being rather sad.

The car looks to have no traction control button on the dash which would suggest an early car, you wouldnt have bought an older non PD tdi so its not a TDI. The recaros are an obvious giveaway but many people put them in now....

Im saying an early AGU/ARZ in black/dark blue and 5 door.

Well it is a 5 door, it has the wrong wheels for the model (Montreal IIs.....again....), 5 speed box, in Metallic Black (paint code escapes me at the moment). Stamped Recaro seats, climatronic, cruise control. Fogs front and rear, no arm rests nor winter-pack...

Hmmm interesting spec. Most diesels came with armrests pre 2001 though...

And in your last thread you said you would search for a good solid 1.8t. Im still guessing early 1.8t as those door handles look pretty faded now which happened to the early GTI's, knowone would have retrofitted knackered ones surely lol

Im sticking with a 1.8t GTI 150 bhp AGU 5 door in LC9Z!

lads its deffo petrol. youd be af**king idiot to fit powerflex (correct me if im wrong tim) bushes to a derv theyd rattle you to hell and back.

I thought it was an early 1.8t too, due to the Recaros, no ASR, 5 speed box and wood trim. I thought the only diesel with wood trim was the PD150.

Did some GT TDI 110s come with wood trim too? If it was an option, seeing as the original owner has specced cruise and climatronic I can see that happening. Especially as it seems to have a GT spec including front and rear fogs.

As someone has changed the wheels for Montys at some point, it means they were into changing bits, so in truth it could be anything!

Olly - Well, i've ordered the Powerflex bushes, so i'll live with them, or change them at a later date. I wouldn't mind the polar opposite of what i have at the moment, which is engine lurch on brake and accelerate.

Matty - My buddy with a TDI110 has wood in his Bora, and i know a couple of people with 110s that had it.

Ordering Updates

Stickers have been ordered, as with before, not going to be able to deck it for a while (and i need to find me some shoes).

Brakes are good though which is nice!
