So I found a golf mk4 2.0 S estate 2000
140.000 miles on clock

Guy wants £200 currently has an mot until 15th August.

What things should I be checking other than the obvious before I buy this.

Any issues with estates I should be aware of anybody with an estate could let me know issues they had with there’s and standard issues with them I’d really appreciate it.

I know £200 is peanuts but i’m getting married in August and am mega skint so don’t really wanna buy it and find it needs £500 worth of work for the mot as I can’t afford that.

To be honest it's a 2.0 , but for 200quid it's a gamble could last a year or two or could be a heap , just make sure u go for a good run and everything works like it should ,

Pictures?  Colour?  History?  Owners?  Service?  What needs done?  Check for rust, oil colour, idle, EML, brakes, handbrake, knocks, panel gap..., ig:@adam_g4fku, Adam's Anthracite Grey 1.8t Build Thread...

Best way to lose weight is not drinking mayonnaise/cheese/beer everyday.

I also run a check on the previous MOT's... helps me have a little insight on its history or similar
